When I Quit Being a Digital Nomad

I’m back to Singapore since early this year, now not being a digital nomad as I used to since 2011, but working at ‘normal’ time, morning to afternoon. Although I’m back to my routine life and not moving from one place to another anymore, the first six months, I still lived like a nomad, or considered homeless.

And I Join The Kerala Blog Express

I swear that I never had a desire to join the Kerala Blog Express even though I voted for two Indonesian contestants previously, Dina Dua Ransel and Haryadi. Then, last month I got tempted when my friend was trying to poison us to join this annual event by posting and sharing related-topics on Facebook. Yes, and I signed up myself a couple of weeks ago, but since then I never checked the website until my friend shared this link to me. Wow, cool.. just being selected as a contestant and my photo appears gracefully among travel bloggers from around the world, well yeah, feeling optimistic then.

Bandung in a Nutshell

"Hello Bandung, long time no see you." That’s my unspoken Greeting to this city after my last visit almost 6 years ago. I lived in Jakarta for 5 years and a weekend getaway to Bandung was common things for us who live in Jakarta. My 2016's impression toward Bandung, it is extremely different from many years ago. Today's Bandung is polluted, not as cold as it used to be, and .. crazy traffic jam here and there, almost similar to Jakarta. Why of why, Bandung.. Don't you know, you used to be my favorite Indonesian city, well, maybe because at that time, I was still young and loved shopping. But then, things changed as I get older.
