Internet Celebrity (Wannabe)

In the 1960s, Andy Warhol, an American Pop Art movement artist said; "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes", or known as 15 minutes of fame. And today, we, as generation who live in the future of Warhol's mentioned in the 1960s see that's true indeed, shows that he accurately describing or predicting what will happen in the future. Especially, in this digital age where the world in the palm of our hand, we can access the world via mobile phone or tablet wherever we are and anytime. WiFi becomes our breath, as if we can't live without it, wherever we go such as cafe, hostel, hotel, restaurant, bus, we would ask, 'any WiFi' ?

First World vs. Third World Traveler

As a third world traveler, we are getting used to an endless insult look to our passport at checkpoint and , we can’t tell lie, it leads us to such a big frustration before we start traveling. Ignore the generic slogan from first world travelers who always spread ‘Quit your job, and travel the world’ slogan. Excuse me?? It ain't work for us, this immigration would suspect us as illegal immigrant and drag us to interrogation room. We’d even asked for Bank statement for any visa to enter many countries.

Not a Tourist, but a Visa Runner

I often heard this slogan ; ‘I am not a tourist I am a traveler’. Because I am an anti-mainstream person, I asked myself, so, what am I then ?? Am I tourist or traveler ?? I understand there’s no need to argue between Tourist or Traveler, why bother labelling whether we’re a tourist or traveler that make us a Travel Snob. It depends on your preference and lifestyle. At the end of the day, we’re all a tourist, traveler will always be a tourist in immigration.
